MusicAlly - campaign of the month July '24 - girli 


Over a few months of 2024 I jumped on board as the PM / marketing lead for girli's 'Matriarchy' album with the Believe UK team. The campaign was already in motion when I joined, with me jumping on board for 2 single's and the album release. The release was the second album from girli and a priority release for the Believe team - who were hugely engaged having been building her streaming number's and visibility for a number of years.


The motivation and passion from girli and her management at East City made the campaign hugely fun to be a part of. The album release came in the middle of May, followed a few weeks later by a fan movie night at Everyman Cinema in London which tied in with Pride month and enabled us to continue to raise awareness of the new release. The screening offered a select number of girli's Discord community / engaged socials fanbase the opportunity to hang out with girli and watch a personally selected movie.


As highlighted by MusicAlly: "the night exemplified the importance – and the fun – of artists creating unique experiences for their most loyal fans".
